A Roman Catholic Seminarian opens up his Heart and shares the Faith he Loves.

Name: Deacon Kevin Muniz
I am a Seminarian for the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois studying to become a Roman Catholic priest. I created the blogs “THE HEART OF A SEMINARIAN” and “JUST ASK THE QUESTION” for no other reason than to share the Faith that I love and continually learn more about the Will of God that I search. Thank you for visiting my blogs.

NEWS
· Lack of Posts: I want offer an apology to everyone who have been checking this blog only to see a lack of posts. This year has been a busy year due to my assignment to an internship year. After the 2nd year of theology, I am assigned to a parish for a school year to gain experience in a parish. Also as everyone might have seen, I have been asked and started writing a frequent column for my diocesian newspaper (to read my columns just click on “Catholic Times” in the archives. In that post there will be a link to my column). This column takes a lot of time, because I am not a good writer and I have to work at it. Finally, with more things that I am trying to do, I am fighting to make sure that it does not affect my prayer life. I must keep that solid if I am ever planning on being a holy priest. With all of those thing, that is why I have not been posting much, but I still want to keep this blog going. Keep me in your prayers.
· New Blog: Earlier this year, I started a new feature on this blog with having an Ecumenical dialogue with other ministers and people of different churches. Well, realizing that the posts on different questions by these ministers would be eventually buried under a series of new posts by me, I realize that it would not stir the discussion that I wish it would. As a result, I have decided to start a new blog intended directly for this discussion. Also, I dream that this new blog can be recommended by different protestant churches to visit and read (This should be easier for them to recommend than a personal blog by a Catholic seminarian.). The new blog is at www.theforum.motime.com. I know, what am I doing starting a new blog when I have trouble keep this one up to date? In the new blog, I am one of five so it will be less work. By the way the churches involved are Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, and Non-Denominational. I hope you enjoy it. It will be running full force soon.
